Kirusana Ravindran

Kirusana is passionate about mental health and providing people with the space to feel heard and grounded in their wellness journey. She completed an Honours Bachelor in Science specializing in Mental Health Studies, and throughout her undergrad, she has focussed on providing mentorship using a strengths-based approach to build resiliency and self-compassion. She has also helped many post-secondary students at the University of Toronto with various academic skills. Kirusana aims to become a Registered Psychotherapist where she can contribute to providing adequate continuity of care in the mental health care system. 

 

For 7 years, Kirusana has been an ice skating coach where and has mastered breaking down various skills across ages 3-60+ and managing abilities. It warms her heart to see participants attempt a sport that can be quite daunting and overtime garner confidence as they grasp the technique of balancing, skating on their edges, and successfully completing challenging skills. Fostering the strengths-based approach, every small or big victory observed in each skater deserves to be celebrated!

 

Outside of work, Kirusana enjoys taking pictures using vintage digital cameras to capture fashion, interior design, and architecture. She is constantly scrolling on Pinterest, organizing boards that capture these aesthetics, as a creative outlet. Lastly, Kirusana has quite the sweet tooth and loves exploring new dessert shops in the city.
